The selection
Categories are defined according to current trends and influences within the electronic scene. Nominees are drawn up by a committee of various promoters, venues, managements, artists and luminaries who consider an artist’s impact, visibility, creativity, influence, ability and popularity over the last few years.

Your vote
Once nominees have been notified it’s down to a public vote for category winners meaning awards don’t just go to the most famous artists with the largest following who can generate the most traffic vote for them.
The DJ Awards 2024 ceremony takes place at Chinois, Ibiza Marina on 2nd October when the winners from the public vote along with the non-music categories will be announced.

The event
Winners then take to the decks and everyone is welcomed to celebrate the sounds of success as the doors of Chinois are thrown open to the public and the DJ Awards 2024 after-party kicks off for the first time in four years.
