Whilst our 23rd edition DJ Awards was cancelled this year due to COVID-19, we find ourselves navigating the ins and outs from this pandemic, like the rest of the world our “normal” has changed. We are adapting to a different landscape in Ibiza, and now more than ever the White Isle needs a voice… a loud one.
We get close up and personal, with some of Ibiza’s innovators, entrepreneurs and idealists covering a range of topics, unveiling myths, finding out what makes them tick and what ticks them off.
Hosted by Jasmine Elias, with guest co-hosts, Julia Charlton and Ryan Be, the outcome (we hope!), will be funny, provocative and empowering!
Meet the Presenters
Jasmine Elias – DJ Awards Director & Ibiza Fixer
Her plan to become the next big name in the fashion world, was unexpectedly cut short and whilst figuring out her next move, she landed a role working for Virgin Retail and the love for music was born! Working with some incredible people, on a variety of projects, from store openings, artist record launches, corporate hospitality at music festivals, the experience gave her the tools to follow her dream to work for herself. Luck was on her side, when she got offered a summer job in Ibiza, arriving with one suitcase and a book of contacts, she soon established herself as the go-to for music pr on the island. With clients from Pacha, International Music Summit, DJ Awards, Glitterbox and Woomoon amongst many. In 2015 she had the honour to take the helm for the DJ Awards.
Julia Charlton – Owner & Director Ibizavillasdirect
With a background in corporate travel for numerous brands from the music and entertainment industries in England she decided to make Ibiza her home in 2001. Having met Jasmine on the island, they became more than dancefloor buddies. A workaholic, she has been living the vida loca on Ibiza for the past two decades. Together with husband Paul, they are the go-to for luxury Ibiza Villa rentals and sales. She also moonlights as a TV presenter for the BBC, having been invited to host their Ibiza edition helping people to relocate during the winter months. The presenting bug took hold, and we´re delighted she joined us.

Ryan Be – DJ, TV Producer, Studio Cameraman, Videographer
He is London based DJ who loves music and is an avid crate digger who’s always on the hunt for new tunes whether its remixes, re-edits or those musical gems that just need to be shared on the dance floor.
Over the years he has played at many top bars & clubs around the world with a recent highlight at the Wild Corner in Hi Ibiza. He currently holds a residency at Lost Society Battersea & Putney, alongside this he’s been asked to play for Crazy Bear events.
